Frequently asked

  • Units are expediently shipped across New Zealand from our Christchurch warehouse. The shipping includes two phases:

Firstly, freight arrangement from our Hamilton warehouse to the nearest Trucking Transport Depot, with estimated costs available on our website.

Secondly, a Hiab truck from the depot completes the delivery to your location. Costs for this service range between $150-$300 per hour, varying based on delivery specifics. We strive for a smooth delivery experience and encourage consultation with our team for precise cost details.

Additionally, pickup from our Christchurch yard is an option.

  • Our units come with a New Zealand Electrical Warrant of Fitness (EWOF), ensuring adherence to NZ electrical safety standards. Each unit undergoes thorough testing and certification by an accredited body. The certification is included with your unit, and for any queries regarding this, our support team is available for assistance.

  • For installation, a stable, level surface is essential. Check the unit's specifications for size and weight considerations. Electrical connection requires a certified electrician, and water and sewerage connections should be handled by a licensed plumber or professional installer. Contact our support team for any queries regarding installation.

  • There are two options for hot water supply: connecting to the mains hot water or installing a califont gas hot water system. A qualified plumber can assist with the installation of a califont. For further assistance or information, reach out to our customer support team.

  • Our payment procedure includes a 50% deposit at order placement and the balance due a week before dispatch. We offer various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and up to 36-month finance plans. Our goal is to ensure a transparent and hassle-free process from order to delivery. Contact our customer support for any payment-related inquiries.

  • A macerator is useful for breaking down waste in portable bathrooms, especially in areas without easy access to sewerage systems. It grinds waste for easier disposal through smaller pipes. However, if your unit is near standard waste disposal systems, a macerator might not be needed. For guidance on whether a macerator is suitable for your situation, consult our customer support team.

  • Customers are responsible for arranging plumbing and electrical connections through their contractors and preparing a level site or footings.

  • We provide payment plans through R&W Financial. Applications for these plans can be made directly on their website, rwfinancial.co.nz.
